Since moving into my new home my boyfriend and i have seen black orb's, i've searched the net but found nothing about about them. The latest sighting was last night while watching t.v in the sitting room, one came straight at me and i jumped back in my seat because i thought it was going to hit, then later on i saw one out of the corner of my eye, it seems to only happen in the sitting room and spare bedroom. Strange things have happened also, doors opening, noises, small items going missing then turning up again. If anyone has any info about these black orb's we would be really greatfull. |

replied on: 2/24/2006 2:11:10 AM I haven't seen one myself but one of my clients described seeing something similar. I have heard of them but at this point I have no reason to beleive they are any different than other orbs. The entity that haunts my clients house has never shown any malevolence toward anyone, to include myself. Just remember, black does not indicate evil or bad, it just means it doesn't reflect light (absorbs it). Just in case you are worried about that. Anyway, to answer your question, yes I have heard of them. |

replied on: 2/24/2006 12:33:07 PM Well in my school of thought and from my research orbs (no matter what color) are just one stage of spirit manifestation. In my model it is the relaxed or natural state. Even though I have never witnessed spirit pilfering (taken) I do believe its possible. One of my first experiences was watching cups move from the side of the drain-board to the middle while I did the dishes. So, whoever the orb is would be capable of doing this by traditional ghost activity. |

replied on: 2/24/2006 9:05:48 PM i dont see there being necessarily much to black orbs in themsevles. Different things will appear differently to different people. A black appearance could be caused by some non-paranormal aspect of your home, or perhaps your eyes. I would be much more interested in the details of the noises and missing items. |
