I don't know if the photographs that I posted in "ghost pictures" has anything to do with these "dreams" "attacks" "episodes" but Ill make a reference so you can check 'em out anyways. We moved into my current home the summer after I turned 15 I believe. I told my parents I felt very uncomfortable here from the get go and of course they brushed it off as nothing, go figure right The first night it happened things were normal. I went to bed and fell asleep soon after. I "woke up" to feel an imminent threat a few seconds later I shifted my body to the left and then felt/saw this black cloud if you will. If you've had the unfortunate experience of walking into an electric fence then you know what it felt like. I couldn't move, my eyes felt like they had rolled back and I was sure I was going to suffocate if it continued. Well, I woke up, surprised by the fact that I wasnt awake 2 seconds ago. Three days or so later the same thing happened. I felt like this time the force was saying "I'll give you chance go ahead get up and run". So I stumbled my way to the door frame and latched on right before that same feeling of an electric shock ran through me. The force paused in its attacks and I fell onto the floor. Immediately I shielded my head. I woke up crying and couldn't stop all that morning while getting ready. I told my mother my experiences that same day and of course..." It was just a dream.". This one scares me the most because It gave me the impression that although the night terrors have stopped for now that they might occur again. In the dream I was in my future college apartment. It was broad daylight and I was on the phone with a man. I felt the feeling that made me turn to my side in the first dream so I spun around only to be slammed down onto the couch by this same force. Again I felt electrocuted, paralyzed and suffocated. As in all the dreams it felt like we were having some sort of an energy battle and I was loosing badly. The last dream is much like the first two but this time I made it into my bath tub and curled up into a little ball before being zapped again. I haven't had anymore "dreams" like that since middle December. Dreams being in qoutes because I know that anyone who has experienced these have hard time explaining these away as just subsconcious meanderings in the night. I never woke up with any physical markings but the emotional strain was enough for me. I still feel threatened and watched. I know other people who go through much more severe cases of this and my understanding goes out to them. |

replied on: 2/26/2006 2:48:31 PM The house isn't very old. It was built around 1950's or so. As far as I know the house was passed down in one family for 2 generations. The first being the original owners and The second being their daughter (mary). Mary lived in the house with her husband and two children (male and female). Mary's kids moved out and not too long after her husband died of cancer. So naturally she left the house. I don't blame her, too many memories you know? I could say that the whole house bothers me and that would be truthful. However, there are certain areas such as the corner in my room that I find at times to be unbearable. I'll find myself transfixed by the feeling of the energy in that corner. It's like Im not wanted or welcome. You can see the living room out of the corner of your eyes as you go up the stairs. If I'm not running up the stairs because I've forced myself to walk up them the pressure to bolt is once again unbearable. When I do finally make it to the upstairs landing and look down I again find myself transfixed. Although we do have a basement I've been down there several times and that area never seems to bother me. The energy of the house over all is murky to me no matter how many times I clean or rearrange things. I've often wondered if it's just residual energy that's got me all worked up. That's alot of emotional teenagers to habitat one house. The happenings wax and wain meaning one night I'll turn out all the lights crawl into bed and not give it a second thought and then a week later I'll have all the lights on waiting for dawn to show up. I was poking around in the Sensitives area reading a thread called "Am I sensitive?" when I came across a post by Meth ( second to last on the 2cnd page). This made me think about how I should begin to log these things because in the long run it cant hurt, right? It might help to find a logical explanation or a discernable pattern. Sorry so long! ~Ash~ |

replied on: 2/27/2006 1:31:53 AM Logging things down is a good start...I've done it for years..When you do this though make sure that you do it while everything is still fresh in your mind..otherwise you might get something confused.. I can sympathize with what is happening to you..I've also felt what I thought felt like a shock..have no answer why but I'm not giving up trying to figure it out.. When you wake up from these so called dreams can I ask if your heart is beating really fast, you feel dizzy, and sometimes your sweating..But in the same token you feel totally drained? |

replied on: 2/27/2006 9:03:49 AM My heart is going a million times per minute whenever I wake up. Everytime I woke up from those I was drenched in sweat and drained. It feels like to me anyways, that the draining feeling comes from that pressure/electric shock in the dream. The episodes in themselves are tiring. Also I'm wondering if anyone could point me towards a thread ( if there is one) that talks about the possibility of heredity in ASP or just a general "pass down" of episodes. After I had these dreams I talked to my father about them. He said he used to have them too but not anymore. ( and if there are any more links on the medical side of ASP I've soaked up the ones in sticky ) Sorry but it's story time...I was thinking today about how my father lived in this house when he was a boy. The way he told it to me it sounds like there was some sort of "force" there too. I don't know if my grandmother had ASP or not but she said it was like someone would choke her at night. Needless to say they moved out after other things started to happen. My dad knows the family that moved in next. The house doesn't stand anymore though. The new family only lived there a week before the husband took his family outside, soaked the place in gasoline and torched the house. |

replied on: 2/27/2006 11:08:44 AM Venice...I know what you mean when you say "dreams" your thinking what else could it be but the time frame is wrong..It's like I just lay down and it starts...I sometimes feel like I'm actually being pulled down into my matress...I use to think that it was my blood pressure LOL I learned later that no it isn't..like a dizzy falling feeling and then the outline of what I liken to an ironing board black figure appears...I feel I am awake but sometimes I think "No I can't be for this to be happening" The paralysis is the worst the feeling of pressure is sometimes so intense that you don't really think your going to make it out of it.. and what seems like a long time of trying to come out of it is only a matter of minutes...I did have a real bad one recently it's in this thread... I think it's under "shays arm after asp episode" I even sent Frank pics to post for me..Now I'm not saying that the ASP caused the marks on my arms but I have no other logical explanation at this point, still looking for good reason why they were there??? There is a forum for ASP-L on yahoo groups if you want to check it out...some of the people are way out there but some of the scientific approach is great!!! I've been researching this for quite a few years and I'm going to say that the symptoms that you are having could be ASP but I would need a little more info...You can e-mail me at rebashay2003@yahoo.com I just get the feeling that your holding back some info that your not sure you want to share...Let me know? I know I've had some bizarre episodes and sometimes it's hard to understand what's happening to me so if you want to share send me an e-mail... |

replied on: 2/27/2006 12:13:38 PM Its so weird. I didn't know that I wasnt awake until I woke up. It's like when your laying somewhere watching tv and you fall asleep but you don't ever remember falling asleep?? I don't know if that makes sense. It hasnt happened since December but by the 3 episode I started to recognize what was going on within 5 seconds or so. Even when you know it'll stop it doesnt make it any less frightening. Not knowing why those things are happening to you must be hard. I saw the pictures of your arm I can't imagine what that must have been like. |
