I've also expericed my Tv and Stero Coming on all on their own. I never really thought anything of it until i compared notes with my next door neighbor who has been having the same experices. Last night we were taking some photos of my van and we got some strange balls of light and other things in the photos. Should we be worried????? |

replied on: 2/25/2006 6:14:27 PM no, don't worry, rule out electrical problems first, talk to a few other neighbors too. post some pics that you took and there are some people here that could give you ideas of what is on them. this is the best place for unbias answers on the net. the banging may even be electrical as well if you have a basement sump pump. a friend of mine had that happen and it freaked him out for about a week because the sound would come thru the other drains and such. |

We're pretty sure that it isn't an electrical problem, because we live in almost new manufactured homes( they're only 2 years old.) We did however talk to the nieghbors on the other sides of each one of us and they also have had some strange experinces. One of our neighbors' key's keep disappearing. The other one gets cold spots in her house. I'm wondering if we should do some research into the property were our mobile home park is.? |

replied on: 2/26/2006 6:12:04 AM I too lived in a new home that had the banging noises and it turned out to be the water pipes. we lived there a year before it started too. try bleeding the lines and do the research on the property. I'm not trying to discount the idea of ghosts but, don't just assume that is what it is. as far as posting pics goes, I'm not sure on that my self but I think you need to have them on the web somewhere and then link to them. if you email them to me I will try and put them on here for you. or you could contact ±Methyus± who runs this site and is (I believe)very good with strange things. By the way, when my pipes started banging they shook the whole house and scared the hell out of my wife. you didn't have to be running water for it to happen either. email the photos to donald@poemsandmore.com if you want to and I'll see what I can do. |

replied on: 2/27/2006 5:20:13 AM   These are the pictures i was talking about notice the mist in front of the van in the first picture and the round ball of light above the van in the second picture. These Photos were taken on a clear night with the tempature at about 40 Degrees. They were taken with a kodak easyshare digital camera. Almost every photo we've taken with any camera in either one of the houses, or around either one of them. We also did some digging on the property, and found out that it used to be the site of a school for boys, kind of an orphange. We know that the outbuildings for the school were located were our homes sit now. We also know that there were at least 3 deaths at the school from various causes. We talked to our other neighbors ( there 's 3 more trailers here) and they all have expericed similar things. PLease let us know what we can do to figure out what it is in our homes, and let us know if we're crazy. |

replied on: 2/27/2006 7:18:04 AM Well, I am certainly no expert at analyzing photos but what it looks like to me is: In the first pick, it looks like you caught a picture of your own breath on a cold night. It happens quite often, but it is only my opinion. The second picture looks like light reflecting from the van and illuminating some condensation on the camera lens, again, only my opinion and I am no expert on photos. I am however curious to read what Frank, Meth, and some of the others that have experience with photos say about them. Now, back to the banging you heard, you have the same kind of home I had at the time. I am almost sure it is the water lines. |

replied on: 2/27/2006 8:00:20 AM I'm also no expert on photo's but it looks like a really cold night and yep I would say you exhaled there.. When you take another pic try to hold your breath for at least 5 seconds before you take the pic.. As far as the banging you could check into what "twisted" said...I'm sure Meth, Frank, & brgallag could tell you more about the photo..but I really don't see anything that would make me think anything paranormal is going on but hey I've been wrong before and will be again I'm sure.... |
