| scoulie Quote | Reply | | the first thing... posted on: 3/30/2006 3:01:21 AM first of all - when we bought this house, i had a very strong feeling of a presence. anyone who has experienced this will know. it is just an intense feeling. like the air around you is heavier or something. you look around but no one is there. i often sit up late at night after everyone is in bed. one night my son's stroller was behind where i was sitting. it was folded up and it has a toy horn that beeps. well all of a sudden the horn beeped 2 times - and i flew around to see who was playing a joke on me but no one was there. everyone was upstairs sleeping. after a quick look to see how it could have happened (no reason) i ran up and woke up my husband, brought him down, showed him, and he groggily shook his head and went back to bed. after that i just knew something or someone was there with us. my feelings were confir,ed. i think the beeping of the horn was just a confirmation that they were not threatening - just having a little fun! but it was a long time before i sat up by myself again! |
