little things...
posted on: 3/30/2006 3:09:46 AM

after that just little things would happen. mostly during the day when i was home alone. i started thinking every little thing was a ghost, but it is hard not to! i would be sitting on the couch and i would feel a "thump" like someone had just kicked or bumped the couch right behind where i was sitting. it was in the middle of the room, but no one was there. that happened twice. then one night i was washing a few dishes in the sink. it was just starting to get dark. my husband was on the couch in the other room. i flipped on the light over the sink so i could see better. i had to reach over pretty far to reach the light - and in the next 2 or 3 minutes no one came in the room, and i didn't move from that spot. i was looking down and suddenly noticed it seemed dark again. the main kitchen light had been on the whole time, but the light over the sink was out again! i flipped it- thinking the bulb had burnt out - but it was working fine. the switch was in the off position - right after i had just turned it on!
there have been lots of times where i wasn't "sure" if something had happened - like i was sure i closed my son's door at night and in the morning it was open - he sleeps in a crib on the other side of the room...lights that i thought were on would be turned of that sort of thing. but they seem to really play with your mind- and a lot of it could be just me with a bad memory. but the kitchen light was for sure.
