| my son's curtains posted on: 3/30/2006 6:24:33 PM hey me again - so i said i would write if anything else happened. well - last night when i put my son (who is 2 and sleeps in a crib) to bed, i was sure i pulled his curtains closed. his crib is against the side wall, and his window is against the back wall. when i checked on him last night, i noticed that one side of the curtains was open. it seemed too far away for him to reach, but i figured i had just forgotten to close it. so tonight when i put him to bed i thought very deliberately about it when i closed them. his crib is far from the wall, so it would be very difficult and awkward for him to pull the curtain open, and not to mention it gets caught on the curtain rod, making it harder from that side. well i just went to check him and it was open again. my husband and my daughter both say they didn't go in to his room at all. now i think that i mentally challenged then earlier to show me a sign, and i am thinking that this is the sign because they knew i was looking for this. usually they catch me off-guard and this one was very obvious. i am happy with that. i tried to recreate the scene with my son opening the curtains and it seems like it is just to fat for him to reach. i will try to keep tabs on this nd will post if i get an answer. hey - feel free to answer me anytime now! i feel like i am the only one out there. not a good feeling in a situation like ours!! |
