NEW HERE. NEED HELP!!! SLEEP HAUNTINGS???

Family and me need help. We can not find answers anywhere!! This is hard to explain but i will try. We take care of my elderly grandmother. We have always thought of her house has being haunted. But have noticed that the last 6 months that the hauntings??? only take place when she is asleep. For example when she goes to sleep we hear people running through the house, doors slamming, people screaming loudly at times, and many other things. But it will all stop when she wakes up. We have no clue what would be causing this but it is just getting worse!!!!! There has been numerous people there that have noticed these things.
Please why are these things happening. We want some answers and ideas on what we need to do. Please someone give us some ideas on why this is happneing.
