My debate on leaded gas
replied on: 8/10/2003 6:20:54 PM Diesel exhaust also has gasses in it that cause global warming. CO2 is the biggest contributor to that. |

My debate on leaded gas
replied on: 8/11/2003 8:35:07 AM Hydrogen will probably be the next source of fuel.. It'll probably be the cleanest fuel ever. Using it on a massive scale will cause more atmosheric humidity and condensation (rain), since the main portion of the exhaust will be H2O.. But If the engine burns hydrogen wrongly.. reaction with oxigen could cause less harmless gasses to get into the atmoshere.. Like H2O5 for example, which is used to dye hair. Just like the current fuels. Carbo-hydrates, which should only emit CO2 and H2O if burned optimally. Electric cars aren't a real good solution.. The electricity has to be provided by powerplants. Which will only be clean if they use either nature's power, fusion or perhaps hydrogen. |

replied on: 8/11/2003 2:40:26 PM wow seems good but it also seems like alot of work to extract....im sure the sceintists will make something new but for now all we can use is electricity, deisel, and gasoline. |

replied on: 8/11/2003 3:48:31 PM Hydrogen's easy to make. Just throw 2 electrodes into a supply of water.. Capture the gas that rises from the process.. voilá: Hydrogen. Fairly efficient aswell. |
