I think they're pretty decent... MORBID RITUAL (C)2003 Lord Weird/Terrorgoat Demon fire... Gutted corpses Morbid Ritual Faceless spirits invoked Blood pentagram Human-skin mask Wand of human bones Necromancy by the opened grave |

Something quite different...
replied on: 8/24/2003 6:07:27 AM Hm. Something in quite another style I've written (this one's about a year old) WITH SORROW AS HIS INSTRUMENT There sat the warrior With back bowed, Once so proud, Now burdened and broken All the songs lied, All the tales were wrong And so he sat there crying With grief as his inspiration And sorrow as his instrument He wrote a song, The immortal song That the wind plays still today With tears as his beautiful lyrics And grief as his inspiration, Woes as his notes, With sorrow as his instrument He played the most beautiful song From shore to shore It did echo, His voice rang clear over the lake With tears as his lyrics Still sings the wind his song Echoes the sound of sorrow As he played on the strings of woe Upon his instrument Now he is gone, Lost to all tomorrows Still his song echoes, Forgotten he is, Faded away, But still his beautiful song Comforts those who cry alone (C) Lord Weird |

Something quite different...
replied on: 8/25/2003 1:42:13 AM Hehe, it was, wasn't it? Actually, it's themed around the Finnish national epos of Kalevala... a poem about the typical Finnish melancholy and pessimism. When reflected upon the character of Väinämöinen, the poem is (maybe) understood as I originally meant it to be understood. |
