| Lunar Heart Quote | Reply | | Publishing? posted on: 6/22/2005 7:27:48 AM I'm a tad new to the forum so I'm not sure if this topic has been raised before but I'm just gunna ask anyway because I'm sure I'm not the only one wanting to know this. Directed towards Xandra and the people following her story, would publishing DI be hard? As a story, it rocks already, but is a manga underway? Or is it going to be a manga? Is something going to get published? Really the only thing that I'm thinking would hold it back would be the shounen ai, but then the anime Gravitation was pretty big...still is. Any comments on this? I know I'd like to see DI published~ |

However, when I do finish it, I plan to sit down and reread and edit the entire thing, making necessary changes. Then, I'll try to get it published. As for manga, there aren't any plans for that yet, but I'd rather not work too far ahead. I have to finish the book first. ^^; I'd love for there to be a manga, but I'm not talented enough for it and no one I know is or has the time. =p So, we'll just have to wait and see what the future brings. DI is shounen ai, yes, but people will either like or hate it. That's all there is to it. If they don't like it, that's their issue. If they do, more power to 'em. Almost every person with a visionary, unorthodox idea ends up taking crap for it--even Shakespeare's stuff was called trash in his age--but I'm ready and willing to stand up for my stuff. ^^ So bring on the commentary, gay-haters of the world! XD I'll take you all on. So, the answer is, DI will get published if I can manage it. ^^;;; _____________________________________________ |
