Accounting for the 85% accuracy, thats (9925 * .85) 8436 as the minimum possible number out and (3586 / .85) 4219 as the maximum number at home. Combining this with the CS information (12259), he either has (12259 - 8436) 3823 at home or 4219 at home. Since both are maximum possible values based on the information at hand, we want to choose the the smaller of the two. Thus, he has at most 3823 Vamps at home. Also, the number isn't 1.15. It's really (1 / .85) 1.176470588235294...repeating. That's why its easier to multiply and divide by .85 instead" -timmyth |
