Explorers next round

Thought about the changes and talked to some players...everytime the same conclusion!
Is it possible, explorers will win next round??
Reasons:
- Smithies are bad now, it will become very expensive to build a good army
- Elite units +10% costs
- Dragons will first slay the good attackers.

So i guess more guys than last round will only explore...

what do you think about that? Is it still worth to attack?
