Homes in Protection
replied on: 6/4/2003 3:22:50 PM

whats a good homes % for an oop attker?

ive run a few dwarf sims so far.

first: using 12% homes i was at 116% employment at hour 60 when troops training began, and that rose to 126% when i came oop, and itll continue to rise for at least the next 12 hours until my conquered land comes in and i start building on it.

second: i went 25% homes and at hour 55 when they finished coming in my employment sunk was down to 82% and then rose by a little less than 1% each hour so that it was 87% at hour 60 and like 98% when i came oop, and then it would begin rising over 100% until i got my conquered land in.

so my question: which is the best way to go about things? go the first route with low homes (= more smithy/alch)?

Or, since it looks like i cant do much about a 30%+ emp swing between when all my buildings from protection come in and when my conquered land comes in just try to center that 30% around 100%?

and then, which of hte 2 is best at maximizing what you come oop with. im inclined to think that to leave protection with the best op/dp u can id want to use the number of homes so that when i finish building everything my emp is 100% and then it rises up to ~130/135 until my conquered land gets in.

thoughts?
