It's not exactly an important topic, but it involves a situation I've known about for some time, and thus interests me. It also represents the possibility of web productions making their way into "real" entertainment, something I've always been interested in seeing. |

Eight months and I still haven't gotten around to finding an avatar. ... Does anyone have any evil or other interesting stuff they could send my way? Maybe some surreal near-death experiences will snap me out of this... (I swear I had a point before I actually started typing...) Here, at least something concrete to talk about: I was watching Firestarter Rekindled or something like that today (That was the weird show I talked about, Kate. I was finally forced to check the title. They did, by the way, kill the guy. Though the psychic was a complete idiot.) and towards the end the villain said something interesting. I tried to listen to it and record a few key phrases at the same time, in the hopes of looking it up later, but I ultimately failed. I thought it might be quoted somewhere, or perhaps the character was quoting a poem, but various Google searches in an attempt to track it down have failed. It doesn't help that all I have to go on are the show and the words fire, ice, desire, fear, moss, wind, and suffocating night. I'm less and less sure about the last and wish I could remember the quote in its entirety. |
