Jaromír broke his thumb and will be sidelined until the end of January! Apparently he injured himself trying to cross-check Patrik Stefan of the Atlanta Thrashers...

Well, luckily, saying he would be out till the end of January was an exaggeration. But you never know with the Caps' injury reports, of course.

Nice to see Jagr back on track by the way, after the little scoring slump he had after his comeback.

And welcome to the forums to you!

What a pleasant surprise: only five days after the thumb surgery Jágr returned to the ice and even scored an assist! He felt quite good in practice already, although he could only use three or four fingers. Of course he's in pain, but he says it's not that bad.

Yeah.
Makes me wonder how his injury is affects him now. I'm thinking, an injury like that takes more time to heal fully than the short amount of time he was gone.
Let's hope for another Caps' win tonight!
