I'm worried that something may have happened to the Pride of Green Lane. So, I'd be grateful if you could post any sightings, no matter how minor. Let's hear what he was doing, was he tooled up, was he giving it large with the dancing etc.? As Brummies it's our duty to protect the jewels in Birmingham's crown. Mad Malik is one of them. You know it makes sense. |

replied on: 8/3/2003 12:52:21 AM i did watch malik perform tonight. it was inspiring to say the least, rather like Douglas Bader on ketamin. He had the hat on but no stick, personally i think this was a mistake. Sans stick he is vulnerable, but still he danced. Twats honked horns at him and he chases them giving the two fingers of abuse for all he is worth. for the casual watcher his performance may seem repetitive and mundane. consider however that he has been doing the this for at least 20 years, that is a long time and he deserves recognition from the city. what he does may be complete and utter madness but he is bloody good at it. |

Mad malik has never had Mr Wiliams advantages but still puts on a fine show. I believe that the world of modern music has a lot to learn from small heaths dancing fool. |
