Seems such a nice, quiet level-headed boy.

Level headed? He was on the news t'other day, recounting his happy days knitting at Yenton School. (Is it a tough school do we know?) That's the hobby of a Wild Boy. He even bursts blisters in a wild and exciting way. Sterilised needle, no thanks! Not when I've got power tools. He is lovely though.

Nice to see him keep up the tradition of Villa players missing penalties in important knock-out international games, and therefore ensuring I get all the the frustration of disappointed England supporting colleagues taken out on me.
He did look heartbroken, though.
Still, he's going to be a dad soon, so congrats to Vas, and it shows he CAN score now and again.
I may now lose weight because of that match, because I'm boycotting toblerones. I shall never let anything Swiss pass my lips again, because of that poxy referee with the stupid white beard who cost us a winning goal.
Ultimately though, I blame Sven. He should have picked Beckham for the tournament.

The shame of it is that I'd just finished sewing the letters of Beckham's name onto my grandson's England top. He's gone off him now. I'll just have to unpick it all. I'm just glad they've taken Big Ron off the airwaves before the championship started. Lord knows what he'd have come out with. Mind you, I've never seen a goalie taking a penalty before. Surely that wasn't right was it? Perhaps we should have brought Sven on to take one. Give him something to do instead of just sitting there with his biro. Help him feel more at home.

If you feel the Ref treated England less than well I am sure that he would like to know your views on the game.

I don't think I'd bother e-mailing him but if you could get the password for his inbox I'm sure that'd be worth a laugh.

Good job you don't work with Swedish people then. I need only add the name of Olof Melberg, fellow Villa stalwart and international penalty misser.
