replied on: 11/5/2003 3:30:43 PM Not bragging, honest, I give you my word as a gentleman and a tax inspector. But glad to hear he's still doing his thing. When I knew him and his work, River Island was but an alluvial deposit in an estuary. Can't say I've played the tape recently, i.e. within the last ten years, but it was never out of my cassette player in the late eighties. Might just try to root it out sometime and have a listen. It should still be in my collection somewhere, I think it was entitled "All of Me". Can't be much of him if it can be fitted in a cassette box. Maybe it will seem really awful and trite after all these years, but I was always very impressed with Brum's answer to Jean-Luc Ponti though. A pound for a cheesegrater seems a bit excessive. Is it an executive or professional model? The one with the mohogany handle? |
