There's also another guy from the Library who's even more mad about the Monarchy than Norman. Someone once told me he'd had an operation to remove part of his brain, although the part that deals with the Royal Family is still very much intact.

I saw him on two successive nights a few weeks ago, waiting for a bus in Lower Bull Street. It was just after nine when I saw him, and he told me his bus didn't come until ten. But then what is a mere hour to a man so immersed in the centuries-long pageant of royal history?
