In my previous career as a JD-lite musician I found it impossible not to sing in a Yank accent. I guess it comes from absorbing so much US produced music that one ceases to have any kind of identity. But the point came when it was either sing yanklike or curl up silent tortoise like on stage. I chose to nominate someone else to put mouth to my words. And then we died.

Think back a month or so. I commented on comparisons drawn between my music and that of another artist. I never really saw much of a similarity so that's the lite part. Like we wrote songs about suicide but never actually swung. That's fickle for you.

Thought you were comparing your music to watered-down Jack Daniels there for a minute.

Like dibble, I just pop in from time to time, and found what I thought was an interesting thread, but I do think you have something personal going on here...
And is that really your fave site on your profile? Hmmm...

Erm, reckon there'd be a few copyright issues. Posting mp3s is a surefire way to get shut down.

What bands are we talkign tho - maybe we could get thier permission?

no. i'm partial to soft furnishings too, whatever the quality. i don't think there's anything wrong with saying low art thrill were shite either. i've seen them play and believe me they WERE shockingly shite. not only was their singer called jeremy, by the way, their drummer was called rupert. ha ha ha ha ha ha
