Last year Jason Furnell narrowly beat Danny Reddington to the top spot, and the year before Babu wiped the floor with all comers. Nominations are open for a month and the vote will start from 1st November. You can nominate anyone, anyone at all, but the idea is that they’d be someone, from Brum, that has done something worthy in the past year. You’re welcome to discuss each others nominations, but keep it civil. And so, in the words of the late Ron Pickering, away you go! To nominate comment on THIS PAGE ON THE MAIN SITE
m8e Rank: Ozzy	Nominations for Brummie Of The Year 2007 replied on: 9/30/2007 3:53:04 PM My vote goes to Richard Pawley - the guy who wants to build a 650ft tall bungee jump tower next to Millennium Point. He grew up in Birmingham, and then spent nearly 30 years working at Drayton Manor Park, where he introduced the Apocalypse and Shockwave rides. A self-confessed adrenaline-junkie, he says he wants to be the first person to jump off the tower when it's finished, which will hopefully be sometime in 2010. That should show the world what us Brummies are made of!! (Quite literally if the rope snaps)

Kinda like a parallel BiNS universe. Think I'd best stay out of there, however, as I already waste far too much time waffling in this one.
