Mutation/Power(s): Sleep/Dream Inducing
Power Details: Other than blood, a chemical runs through her veins, which is secreted as a white mist that can, depending on how much is breathed in, put a person to sleep. This usually only lasts for a few minutes, although if she were to concentrate harder, a person could very well be knocked out for a good solid couple of hours. The mist seeps through the pores of her wrists and will drip down like (sticky) sweat, then be reabsorbed into her bloodstream if it is left in open air for too long. When someone is asleep, they will dream, a random dream. There is no way of telling what they will dream about, but it's not possible for them to go into a blank state of sleep. Strangely enough, Drizelle does not sleep, it is possibly because of the chemicals in her blood. However, she is most active at night, being in a state of rest for most of the day. She needs to almost constantly drink water (or whatever else is available), mixed with sugar, to keep herself from getting tired, as well as taking caffeine pills twice daily. This does not make her hyper, but it keeps her mood and behavior balanced. Without it, she would be sluggish, barely able to function, like a person who had only gotten 2 hours of sleep would normally act, and could develop symptoms similar to that of the flu.

Psychological Profile: One would think that never sleeping would make a person incredibly grouchy at all times. The opposite can be said for Drizelle. Due to being meaninglessly beaten when she was younger, she is skittish in nature, one could even call her paranoid. However, she often tries to act positive even though a black cloud almost always seems to be over her head, and is generally friendly. Her nervous demeanor sometimes makes people wonder if there is something wrong with her, or if she is just an overly-cautious individual. However, being around people, she is slowly breaking free of her timid shell. Having almost no maternal guidance in her younger years, she tends to stay away from females, almost to the point of fearing them.

Description: Drizelle is considerably short for her age, something she tends to be sensitive about. She is a petite yet curvy girl, clearly of mixed ancestry from her naturally tanned complexion, her dark hair falling just below her shoulders..the true color only known to her. Having broken away from her obsession with dying her hair billions of colors, she keeps it natural, though she streaks it almost weekly. Her eye color is almost unnatural looking, but considering that, at times, she wears glasses, all suspicions can be dropped. Another feature that she's insecure about is her slightly cleft chin. She almost always dresses casually, in bright or dark colors, usually just T-shirts and black pants or shorts. Although she wears almost no makeup, she loves jewelry, often having on several necklaces, pairs of earrings, and bracelets. Wearing a pair of moisture-absorbing black gloves almost all the time, she no longer bothers wearing rings. She owns one pair of sneakers, plain black with pink rhinestones forming 'D' on each outer side, and pink shoelaces. Drizelle has acquired a jacket which she now wears almost all the time, pink, hooded with sleeves fading into black at the elbow and a 'D' embroidered in fancy letters on the left chest area.

Biography: Drizelle lived with her father and older brother for a long time, having no recollection of her mother, who, she was told, died shortly after giving birth. As far as her father explained, she was a 'very bad woman who had more children than she could handle.' They were only middle-class people, her father being a pilot and her brother going with him, they often went out overseas for days at a time and left Drizelle in the care of a nanny, who was really quite neglectful and tended to beat her. No one could ever suspect that she was a Mutant, because she had not developed her powers until she was around 12 years old. Before that, her father was suspicious of the fact that she never slept, and was constantly going through the sugar jar. Drizelle also had sweaty palms most of the time, and she always seemed so high-strung, so her father decided to get her proffessional help.
Apparently, no one knew what was wrong with her until one behavioral specialist determined that she was a mutant and her powers were developing. That was what Drizelle's father feared, but his attitude towards her didn't change much.. He had unfortunately begun to develop a drinking problem, and the Nanny quit when he nearly broke her jaw. Now, Drizelle spent most of her time home alone, or with her brother, who had taken to beating her up daily, unless she was in school, where the torment was even worse. Her teachers barely paid attention, aside from one, who pitied her. So, the woman called in Drizelle's father and thought it might be best if she went somewhere where she could be with 'people like herself'.

X-tra Fact: From her father's years of travelling, she has acquired tons of items from foreign countries, like knick-knacks, clothing, et cetera.
