The copy can then copy itself, and that copy can copy itself, etc. Each "Cadence" can only make one copy of itself. They then can all be reabsorbed to the one which created them. The original Cadence is empathically and telepathically linked to all other Cadences, which while allow control, also results in psychosomatic feedback. If a copy gets hurt, it goes through the chain of copies (lessening with each copy) till it reaches original Cadence. The nature of the copies causes them to be sensitive to electricity (the farther from the original they were created, the more susceptible they are.) Cadence's duplicates require food, water, air, and the original being alive to function correctly. A copy that strays farther than a few miles from main Cadence begins to break down and disintegrate. Copies cannot be "dismissed"; they must be reabsorbed into a Cadence. If a copy is otherwise terminated (wandering out of range, being killed, or suffering electric shock) it disintegrates, releasing a significant amount of electric current for a brief second as it sparks out of existence. While Cadence Copies are created with the clothing of the original Cadence, any mechanical, intricate or other complex items do not function. (Like she can't replicate with a walkman, money, a gun, books or such things. Only clothing.) Physical Appearance: Typical southern belle type, recovering from years of being overweight. She has long raven black hair often crimped, green eyes and an ivory like complexion. Being a Gammazon, she is sure to dress to impress most of the time; notable brand names and well known fashion designers. Her clothing are often casual or business like, though she is somewhat cautious about wearing anything that bears her midriff. Psychological Profile: Cadence is quite outgoing and often speaks before thinking. While academically decent, she is often short-sighted and is famous for her bad decisions regarding pretty much anything aside from money. Cadence often lies when she feels threatened, but is -horrible- at it. With her peers, she is usually the one who gossips and agrees with most things just to fit in. In truth, she finds it difficult to be honest friends with anyone but her clones, because they never hurt her. This is probably due to her being overweight in the past. She has an intense fear of becoming overweight again. Biography: Cadence comes from "new money". She was only four years old when her parents suddenly became rich. The story seems to dictate that her parents are behind the very popular snack, "Bagel Bites". They still possess their small town views and such, and are not your average "wealthy folks". Cadence's childhood was pretty normal, with no real serious abnormal incidents. The girl was overweight in her grammar and high school days, and this was a big problem. She was never really great at school, but her parents money got her through most of it fine. Her mutation manifested when she was seventeen, while she was in gym class. A dodge ball hit her square in the face causing her to duplicate. The hoopla that ensued was quickly quieted as the girl was taken out of the private school. Her parents, being the good natured small town folk they were, told Cadence to "try not to do it again" and kept her home for a year or so. Meanwhile, when alone, she would replicate merely to have friends to talk to and such. One such time her mom found her, and it was then decided to have her sent off to Grayland Academy. X-Tra Fact: Cadence reportedly has had to eat 27,000 Bagel Bites since she was 8. |
