Hair Color: Brown Eye Color: Brown Nationality: American Occupation: Reformed Criminal Mutation/Powers: Dam's powers are an odd mixture of selective eleasticity, mass and size manipulation, and immovability. His powers seem to all work in an odd unison to where they aren't as broad as all three powers working independently, but are much more potent. Power Details: Bulge is able to increase his body mass and size by pulling in ambient matter in the atmosphere around him very quickly. This creates a small vacuum momentarily when his power activates on a larger scale than normal, but it quickly dissapates. He is able to grow to over 18 ft. in height, with proportonate size and strength. He his able to singularly grow any of his extremities, such as his hands and feet, by shifting his weight to that part. If able to relax all his muscles, Bulge's body takes opn the consistency of thick tar, which he can use to absorb and smother others. If Bulge is able to plant his feet properly on the ground, he can increase his body mass and become immovable. The upward limit on this latter ability is not know, but he once stopped a minivan going 80 mph dead with great effort. Psychological Profile: On the surface, Dam is very much the perpetual class clown. Always smiling, always chuckling, always happy to make others happy. He loves comic books, is a habitual smoker, and loves getting into trouble for the sake of hilarity. All in all, a guy everyone loves and no one hates. But scratch the surface, and he's a mess. Conflicting emotions, painful memories, shameful secrets, he keeps it all bottled up. But anyone who sees the anger burning when he fights can tell he needs a shrink in a bad way. Physcial Description: Dam is a big, chubby guy, his collar length chesnut hair and a permanent 5 o'clock shadow. Dam's skin is very white, almost chalky, and his hands and feet seem unnaturally large, even for his size. He always wears baggy nylon pants and XXXX-L t-shirts so when his power activates, he doesn't rip up his clothing. He wears unlaced Converse All-Stars and a heavy olive green army fatigue jacket, covered in patches that say things like 'Hal-9000' and 'USSR'. His clothes are always washed, but unkempt and worn. Biography: Dam didn't have a chance from the start. Born to an drunk criminal father and a sexually abusive mother, Dam's views of morality and law were always skewed. By the time he entered his teens, he was an accomplished burglar and robber. Dam loved the thrill of the crime much more than the pay off, and when he almost got his father arrested, his dad decided to kill him. Dam defended himself, and accidentaly triggered his mutant powers, crushing his father to death his a giant fist. He fled the authorities, and lived as a vagrant for the longest time, collecting money from small thefts and oddjobs as he traveled the country. He heard about Grayland through one of his friends, and decided to get it a try. X-Tra Fact: Though he'd never admit it, Bulge adores old music along the lines of James Taylor, Simon and Garfunkel, and Jimmy Buffet. He loves to play thier songs on acoustic guitar, as long as no one's watching. |
