replied on: 6/4/2005 11:57:16 PM All gas absorbs light but it is usually in just one or two wavelengths IE. O3 or ozone absorbs uv whitch is just small light and ozone can even contribute to smog because it absorbs other forms of light. oxygen and nitrogen absorbe light too just not mutch. H2O (water) The No 1 greenhouse gass absorbs infraed but you cant see that. |
