If you know any kids in Desert Hot Springs or Palm Springs, CA, forward this to them as quick as you can. Thanks. Champ, age 9, and Lisa, 17 We are urging the children of Desert Hot Springs and Palm Springs to skip school every Monday starting on Jan. 8, 2007 to put pressure on the Bush government to stop the war in Iraq and prevent it from escalating to nuclear war. Nuclear concerned parents should keep their kids home from school. The Desert Hot Springs area is the first target zone for the strike which we hope will rapidly spread across America and stop the war. Forward this e-mail and tell your friends. Please reply and let us know if you are skipping school on Mondays and how many of your friends are, so we can gauge the success of the strike. The idea of the children of America skipping school each Monday as the trigger for a general strike to stop the War in Iraq came about from a series of e-mails exchanged with Desert Hot Springs resident, 2004 Grammy nominee, Paul Krassner, whom I knew from the 60s.
